About Our Tours
We always do our best to plan both our motorboat tours (max 5 people) and our small-boat tours (max 25 people) so they're the best they can be for our guests — in terms of both duration and route.
You're welcome to eat, drink and smoke in the boats, but we always carry our rubbish back to the marina with us!
Important to know: we never group strangers together! If there are two of you, it'll be the two of you plus the guide; if there are five, then five plus the guide. In earlier years, mixing groups only ever caused problems — bad for the guest, and so bad for us too.
On themed tours, we do have boats where strangers tour together. Such themed tours include the mayfly-watching tour or the end-of-season boat day. At these events, however, there's always a fixed participation fee per person.

A Brief Guide by Tour Length
Our shortest tour is 1 hour, a taster for those who don't have more time, who arrive with small children, or who think at first that this will be enough… but it isn't. Experience shows that in the company of our guides the hour almost flies by, and very often, at the guest's request, the outing is extended into a two-hour tour. And if you stick to the original plan, there's still plenty to see — flushing channels, sluices, oxbow lakes, a stretch of the river, and of course fascinating plants and birds you can chat about with your guide.
If you're thinking of 2 hours, we have several options. We can explore the Tiszavalk Basin and bird sanctuary, or head another way — towards the new water-viewing tower at Szilas-fok, or the Óhalász Holt-Tisza (an oxbow lake). During the two-hour programme, we always pass through protected national-park areas. The guides always explain what fits into the time and can shape the tour completely flexibly around that. Our goal is always that when our guests return to the marina, they won't want to get out of the boat — that we've given them a real experience. Most guests choose the 2-hour programme.
We cover 20–30 kilometres by boat, and can set off in any number of directions. If the lake is unfamiliar to you, it's worth relying on your guide — they're out on the water every day and know exactly what can be seen, when and where. I'd recommend the three-hour tour to those who feel close to nature and love spending time outdoors in good company. It gives a complete picture of Lake Tisza, and thanks to the areas covered, its diversity and sheer size truly come to life. During the tour we get to know the lake's history, its characteristic plant life, its birds and other wildlife. And of course there's the chance to stop and moor along the way, for one reason or another.
Three Ways to Book
1. By phone
Advantage: you can book even for the same day.
Disadvantage: in season, amid the bustle of tours, we can often only call you back after a significant delay, and there's a real chance of mishearing the details.
2. By email:
Advantage: for larger groups and multi-boat bookings, it's easier to discuss the details.
Disadvantage: for a same-day tour, the reply may take too long.
3. Fill in the online form
Advantage: quickly, in just a few clicks, you can send your booking request along with your contact details.
Disadvantage: for a same-day tour, the reply may take a while.
How to Book Using the Online Form
1.) Choose the boat size that's ideal for your group, then press the "I'll choose this" button.
2.) Specify how long you'd like the tour to be, then press the "I'd like this tour length" button.
3.) A final check that you've picked the right tour. If all is well, press the "Choose this tour — see the details" button.
4.) Tell us how many people are expected besides you. For the 5- and 8-person boats this doesn't change the price, but for our larger boat trip the expected cost depends on the number of people, at 1,500 HUF (~4€) per person per hour.
5.) Choose the day of the tour, then select a suitable time from the available slots and press "Next."
IMPORTANT: The earliest you can book online is 24 hours ahead (for the next day). If you'd like to come today, please call us!
6.) Provide your contact details. (We'll only use this information to confirm your booking; we won't share it with any third party.) Press "Continue."
7.) On the summary page there's one final chance to review your chosen tour and the expected cost. If you'd like to change something, click the arrow next to "Your expected cost" to go back to the earlier steps. If all is well, press "Send my booking."
On the final page, the system confirms that you've submitted your tour request with the details you provided. If you like, you can add the date to your calendar here so it doesn't slip your mind.
Important: consider your booking confirmed only once we've contacted you on one of the details you provided and confirmed that the time really suits you.
If, for any reason (e.g. expected bad weather or illness), we need to make changes after confirmation, we'll let you know as soon as possible.
Sometimes, despite our best efforts, we can't set off — or get back to the marina — exactly on time. Please be patient with these few-minute delays. Thank you!
